The Greatest Constitutional Crisis Since the Civil War!
My name is Stan Leavell and I am running for US Senate in the State of Illinois in 2026.
I am not your typical candidate. Unlike the Democratic lineup in Washington and Illinois, I am not thought of by the Democratic party in the same way they feel about their current career politicians. Some of these guys are bolting for the door, afraid to admit they lost touch with their own base. They also don't appreciate the fact that unlike their Democratic Candidates who have been in power for decades while ignoring the cry of the working class and small business I really do understand the daily struggle. I get up every morning and go to work in my small construction company. Just like you, I know the challenge of meeting everyday expenses in a political and economic environment that seems to have gone mad. Right now I am the candidate that the Democratic Party is ghosting. But let me clarify that. They do send me donation requests for the DNC so they can help other Democratic Candidates run for office. Sure would like to know who those are. Maybe they are the ones supported by Billionaires like the one in Illinois who is going to use his money to attempt to install your next US Senator. Maybe its for the spineless career politicians who forgot about you in the last election and instead allowed a "King" to be ascended to the throne at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This is the greatest constitutional crisis since the Civil War.
It is time for Democrats to be finding leadership. For decades the party has needed new ideas- not the same establishment clinging to power into their nineties. What happened to the party that supported labor. What happened to the party that championed civil rights. What happened to the party that kept my grandmother and her six children from starving during the great depression. The party who brought us the new deal and the WPA which allowed my grandfather to work to support his children. What happened to the party who brought us through World War 2 and what happened to the party who brought us the civil rights act of 1964. I guess the answer is clear. They all became lawyers, career politicians and afraid to oppose government intervention in the private lives of citizens .
Small Businesses are suffering under the current political climate in Washington. Businesses are reporting revenue declines, flat employment growth and higher debt level . This is a true National Crisis being ignored by our career politicians.
I can guarantee you, I am not afraid to fight against those who wish to destroy our jobs, small businesses and the economic future of our children. I am not your career politician, not a lawyer, and certainly not afraid of a challenge, I am a guy who struggled to get through a top 10 business school, and crazy enough to be self employed. Over the course of my career I have worked hundreds of men only to have my business destroyed by career politicians like the Madigans.
